Neha Khanna is no stranger to the world of fashion. She’s been here, seen it transition but has not allowed those changes to alter her own belief systems.

We caught up with the young and beautiful designer for a quick chat. She idolizes Balenciaga. Need we say more?
What was the first thing you ever designed?
The first thing I ever designed and sewed was a color-blocked outfit for my Barbie.
What are some of your favorite clothing stores/websites?
JCrew, Robin Richman and Ikram in Chicago, Zappos.com.
What is your current inspiration?
Nature is a source of inspiration. Also, currently I am inspired by fashion in the early 1900s.
What do you splurge on?
Food! (more than clothes).
What are your favourite colours/materials to work with?
Though I love colors, white and black are a staple. I do enjoy working with pure fabrics.

The 1-seemed wedding dress by Balenciaga

Cristobal Balenciaga, Vionnet, Halston and Alexander Mcqueen
Who or what would you choose to bring on a weekend getaway?
Who – George Clooney! But in reality it would be - My Raybans, a good book and Sunscreen lotion
